"How long does SHEIN take to ship to Malaysia" is answered on SHEIN Malaysia's own pages, and this page collects the answer: the shipping time and price, processing time, how sales tax on low value goods is charged, which carriers SHEIN names, what SHEIN offers if an order is late, and when to contact SHEIN. Every fact is quoted from my.shein.com, read on 2026-11-02; the shipping page was last updated by SHEIN on 21 April 2026. How SHEIN delivers in general is in how long does SHEIN take to deliver; other markets are in SHEIN to Singapore, SHEIN to South Africa, SHEIN to the UK and SHEIN to the USA.
Short answer: SHEIN Malaysia lists Standard Shipping only, at "3-5 Business Days", priced "RM10.00-spend below RM65.00" and "Free - orders over RM65.00", after "1-3 days for processing" for orders from SHEIN's global warehouses. Sales tax on low value goods is charged at checkout: "customers will be charged a sales tax of 10% when placing an order for Low Value Goods with SHEIN", calculated as "(Net sales price of items)* 10%". SHEIN names Flash Express, Ninja Van and J&T as its Malaysian carriers, assigned by address. If an order misses its date and you ticked On-Time Delivery at checkout, SHEIN gives 200 SHEIN Points.
What SHEIN Malaysia publishes
| Item | As SHEIN Malaysia states it |
|---|---|
| Method | Standard Shipping only |
| Time | "3-5 Business Days." |
| Processing | "Ship from Global(1-3 days for processing)" |
| Price | "RM10.00-spend below RM65.00"; "Free - orders over RM65.00" |
On the day we read it, an order placed that day was shown arriving between 5 and 9 November; your dates will differ, and the window at checkout applies. SHEIN's own pages disagree on the overall time: a SHEIN Malaysia FAQ says an order "usually takes 6-10 days", closer to processing plus shipping added together; the shipping page's 3 to 5 business days is the shipping leg.
Sales tax on low value goods
SHEIN Malaysia's FAQ: "the imposition of Sales Tax on Low Value Goods of 10% will start from 1 January 2024. Accordingly, customers will be charged a sales tax of 10% when placing an order for Low Value Goods with SHEIN". Another FAQ gives the formula: "LVG Sales Tax is calculated as: (Net sales price of items)* 10%." SHEIN's pages do not use the term SST and do not state the low-value-goods threshold, so this page states neither. An older FAQ still says "our prices do not include taxes or duties"; the checkout total, with the 10% tax, is the one that applies.
Carriers SHEIN names, and the on-time points
SHEIN Malaysia's FAQ names Flash Express, NJV (Ninja Van) and J&T, "automatically assigned based on your delivery address". Its On-Time Delivery terms offer 200 SHEIN Points if an order misses its estimated date, issued within 2 business days and expiring after 30 days; you must tick the On-Time Delivery box at checkout, and here "Points can be used to offset up to 30% of the total order price".
What the tracking shows, and when to contact SHEIN
What each status means is in SHEIN tracking statuses. Wait until the window shown at checkout has passed, then contact SHEIN through the order.
For merchants
SHEIN Malaysia charges the 10% low value goods tax at checkout and says so in its FAQ, which keeps the tax out of the delivery. A brand selling into Malaysia can do the same by showing the tax in the checkout total and the same order on the tracking page. Pango controls the shipping methods, prices and ETAs shown at checkout and normalises carrier statuses on a branded tracking page with proactive notifications.
The bottom line
SHEIN ships to Malaysia by Standard Shipping in 3 to 5 business days after 1 to 3 days of processing, free over RM65, with the 10% low value goods tax charged at checkout and Flash Express, Ninja Van or J&T delivering. Use the window at checkout and contact SHEIN only after it has passed.
