"How long does Vinted take to deliver in the UK" is answered on Vinted UK's own help pages, and this page collects the answer: the delivery time Vinted states, the carriers it lists for the UK and what each does, how long the seller has to send, how tracking works, how long you have to report a problem, and how Vinted Ireland differs. Every fact is quoted from vinted.co.uk and vinted.ie help pages, read on 2026-11-02. Vinted's delivery rules in general are in how long does Vinted take to deliver, and what the "in transit" status means on Vinted is in Vinted in transit meaning.
Short answer: Vinted UK says: "Typically, domestic shipping takes 2-5 business days" and "International shipping usually takes 4-8 business days". Before that, the seller has 5 business days to send: "The seller has 5 working days to send your item. If they miss this deadline, we'll cancel your order and refund you." So from purchase to delivery, a UK order usually takes up to about two weeks at most: up to 5 business days to send, then 2 to 5 to arrive. Vinted UK lists seven carriers: Evri, InPost, DPD, Royal Mail, Relay, AnyVan and DHL Express. Vinted's help pages publish no prices for them: "Buyers will see the total shipping cost at the checkout." Once Vinted says the order should have arrived, "You'll have 2 calendar days to report an issue and request a refund." Vinted Ireland uses different carriers (AnPost, DPD, DHL Express, drop2shop) and states international delivery as 4 to 7 business days.
The delivery time Vinted UK states
| Stage | Vinted UK's own wording |
|---|---|
| Seller sends | "Send the item within 5 business days of the purchase" |
| Tracking appears | "It can take up to 48 hours for the tracking information to first appear on Vinted." |
| Domestic delivery | "Typically, domestic shipping takes 2-5 business days" |
| International delivery | "International shipping usually takes 4-8 business days" |
| Treated as lost | "More than 25 business days" |
Vinted's pages do not all say the same thing: another UK help page says "Delivery usually takes up to 5-7 business days." Both are Vinted's own; the 2 to 5 day figure is on the page specifically about delivery time. Vinted publishes no delivery time per carrier.
The carriers Vinted lists for the UK
Vinted UK's shipping page lists "Shipping providers for this method": Evri, InPost, DPD, Royal Mail, Relay, AnyVan and DHL Express. What each carrier's own Vinted page says it does:
| Carrier | What Vinted UK says |
|---|---|
| Evri | "Evri Home delivery ships from parcelshop / locker to the buyer's address. Evri Parcelshop ships from parcelshop / locker to parcelshop / locker." |
| InPost | "InPost Home Delivery ships from lockers/shops to the buyer's home. 24/7 InPost Locker / Shop Pick-Up ships from lockers/shops to lockers/shops." |
| DPD | "DPD UK ships from parcel shop to parcel shop."; not available in the Channel Islands, Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland or the Isle of Man; "Collect the parcel from the pick-up point in 7 calendar days." |
| Royal Mail | From a Collect+ parcel shop, post office, locker or customer service point to the same or the buyer's address; "Please do not use the Royal Mail Postboxes to drop off your parcel." |
| Relay | "Relay Shop Pick-up ships from parcel shop to parcel shop."; "available in selected regions" |
| AnyVan | "AnyVan ships from the seller's address to the buyer's address." |
| DHL Express | Ships from a parcel shop or the seller's address to a parcel shop or the buyer's address |
Yodel is not on Vinted UK's carrier list. Collect+ appears only as a Royal Mail drop-off and pick-up point. Prices: every Vinted carrier page says "Shipping rates depend on the parcel's size" and that "Buyers will see the total shipping cost at the checkout"; Vinted's help pages publish no price per carrier or size, so none is given here. Vinted's size page gives the limits instead, for example 2 kg for a standard InPost, Evri or Royal Mail parcel. The Vinted fee is separate: "usually 3% to 8% + £0.3 to £0.8."
When the seller does not send
Vinted's own rule: "If we don't receive any tracking updates or a confirmation that the order has been sent within 5 business days of the item's purchase, the order will be cancelled the next business day." The seller can ask for more time, "by 3 or 5 additional business days. The buyer can accept or decline this request." After a cancellation, the buyer is refunded.
Tracking and the 2-day issue window
Tracking is in the order conversation: "Press Track parcel". It only exists for items bought with the "Buy now" button. Once Vinted tells you the order should have arrived, or seems lost, you have a short window: "You'll have 2 calendar days to report an issue and request a refund." If you do not report anything in time, or confirm the order, "your payment will be sent to the seller". Pick-up points hold parcels for a limited time, and Vinted's pages give different figures: some carriers store parcels "for 2 calendar days", another page says 2 to 3 days, and DPD says 7 calendar days. Collect promptly.
Vinted Ireland
Vinted Ireland's help pages differ from the UK in four ways:
- Carriers: Vinted Ireland lists AnPost, DHL Express, Drop2Shop and DPD. No Evri, InPost or Royal Mail. AnPost ships within Ireland and to France; drop2shop works "within Ireland (Dublin)"; DPD ships within Ireland and to France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
- International time: "International shipping usually takes 4-7 business days" (the UK says 4 to 8). Domestic is the same, 2 to 5 business days.
- Fee: "usually 5% + €0.70."
- Compensation: set per carrier, for example AnPost local "Up to 350 EUR for a damaged parcel and 50 EUR for a lost parcel".
The seller's 5-business-day deadline, the 48-hour tracking delay and the 2-calendar-day issue window are worded the same on vinted.ie.
For merchants
Vinted publishes the three clocks a buyer actually lives by: the seller's sending deadline, the carrier's transit range, and a short window to complain. A brand's promise works the same way when each clock is shown in the same words at checkout, in the confirmation and on the tracking page. Pango controls the shipping methods, prices and ETAs shown at checkout, normalises carrier statuses on a branded tracking page with proactive notifications, and runs returns on the same order record.
The bottom line
On Vinted UK, the seller has 5 business days to send, the parcel takes 2 to 5 business days to arrive, and you have 2 calendar days to report a problem once Vinted says it should be there. Carriers are Evri, InPost, DPD, Royal Mail and others, priced at checkout by parcel size; Vinted Ireland uses AnPost, DPD, DHL Express and drop2shop.
