"How long does Boohoo take to deliver" has a different answer for every service, and Boohoo publishes all of them on its delivery, Premier, FAQ, returns and terms pages. This page collects the windows, the cut-off, the postcode exceptions, how tracking works and when the link appears, the carriers Boohoo names, the returns window and fee, and the late-order rule in one place, quoting boohoo.com's own pages fetched on 2026-10-26. Where two Boohoo pages state different figures, both are given with the page each comes from. What the carriers' own statuses mean is on the carrier hubs linked below.
Short answer: UK Standard Delivery is £3.99 and "usually delivered within 4 working days (Monday – Saturday)" on Boohoo's delivery page (its FAQ says "4-6 working days"). UK Next Day Delivery is £5.99, "subject to cut-off times": for Boohoo and its sister brands, "order by 12am for Next Day Delivery, 7 days a week". UK Express Delivery is £4.99, "delivered within 3 working days". A 24/7 InPost locker is £2.99, "usually delivered within 3 working days", with up to two extra days for a list of Scottish, Cornish and island postcodes; an Evri ParcelShop is £3.99, within 4 working days; Northern Ireland Standard is £4.99, "usually delivered within 5 working days". Boohoo Premier is £9.99 a year for free Next Day, Standard and InPost delivery on orders of £20 or more, with no automatic renewal. Tracking opens from the dispatch email with the order number and email address, and "parcels can only be tracked after they've been dispatched". Returns: 21 days from receipt, from £1.99 per parcel deducted from the refund, no exchanges. Late orders: "if it's after 9pm on your expected delivery date then your order is late", and Boohoo asks you to contact it within 14 days.
UK delivery times
| Service | Boohoo's stated timing | Price | Notes from Boohoo |
|---|---|---|---|
| UK Standard Delivery | "Usually Delivered Within 4 Working Days (Monday – Saturday)" on the delivery page; "4-6 working days (Delivery days Monday to Saturday)" on the FAQ | £3.99, free with Premier | No cut-off stated |
| UK Next Day Delivery | "Subject to cut-off times"; "Order by 12am for Next Day Delivery, 7 days a week" | £5.99, free with Premier over £20 | Terms: "Next Day delivery is subject to placing your order before midnight on the date of your order" |
| UK Express Delivery | "Delivered Within 3 Working Days" | £4.99, free with Premier | Premier terms: Express "may take a little longer to reach highlands and islands, and is not available in the Channel Islands" |
| 24/7 InPost Locker | "Usually Delivered Within 3 Working Days" | £2.99 | "Postcodes with an additional 'up to 2 day' delivery are: AB, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, KA1-24, KA29-30, IV1-40, KY, KW1-14, ML, TR21-25, PO30+, PA20–39, PH4–40 & TD" |
| Evri Parcel Shop | "Usually Delivered Within 4 Working Days (Monday – Saturday)" | £3.99 | Collection from the shop |
| Northern Ireland Standard Delivery | "Usually Delivered Within 5 Working Days" | £4.99, free with Premier |
Two Boohoo rules sit over the table. Its terms say that "in any event, delivery will take place no more than 30 days after the day your Contract is entered into", and that "if no one is available at your address to take delivery and the Products cannot be posted through your letterbox or left in a safe place, after three failed attempts, we may end the Contract". Delivery hours, from the FAQ: "Deliveries are made between 8am and 9pm."
The Next Day cut-off
Boohoo states the cut-off as a time: "order by 12am for Next Day Delivery, 7 days a week" for "Boohoo & boohooMAN, Wallis, Oasis, Dorothy Perkins, Warehouse, Principles & Nasty Gal, Beauty, Misspap, Burton, Coast", and its terms repeat it as "before midnight on the date of your order". Next Day is not available everywhere: the Premier terms say the service "in the following areas may take 3–5 working days (rather than 'next day'): Channel Islands, Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Shetlands", and "the UK Next Day Evening Delivery service (10pm to midnight) is expressly excluded from Boohoo Premier". The checkout shows the delivery date for your postcode.
Boohoo Premier
"For only £9.99 a year", Boohoo Premier gives unlimited Next Day, Express, Standard and InPost locker delivery for UK addresses, and "unlimited Standard Delivery will be available where Next Day Delivery is not possible". The minimum spend: "any subscription purchased after 12am 02.03.2023 will need to spend a minimum of £20 to receive free next day delivery", with orders below that "delivered as free standard delivery" (Boohoo's FAQ states the same rule with a £10 figure; the Premier page and the terms say £20). Premier "is valid for 12 months and is only available to individuals residing in the UK", and it does not auto-renew: "we will not automatically charge you for another year. We will send you an email reminder when your Premier Delivery subscription is close to expiring".
How tracking works and when the link appears
Boohoo tracks orders through its "Track Or Return Your Order" page: "enter your order number and email address to view, track and/or return your order". Two Boohoo rules: "your order number will be on your dispatch email", and "parcels can only be tracked after they've been dispatched", so there is nothing to track between the order confirmation and the dispatch email. Once dispatched, the carrier's own tracking carries the detail. What the carriers' statuses mean is on the carrier hubs: Evri tracking statuses, Royal Mail tracking statuses, DPD tracking statuses and InPost tracking statuses. "Out for delivery" on a Boohoo parcel means delivery that day within the carrier's window, which Boohoo gives as 8am to 9pm; what each carrier's own window is, and why a morning scan is not a morning delivery, is in does out for delivery mean today.
The carriers Boohoo names
Boohoo's delivery page does not name the carrier for Standard, Next Day or Express. Its FAQ names DPD ("select your preferred day and DPD will send you a 1hr delivery window"), Evri (Standard and Next Day parcel collection, and the Evri ParcelShop option), Asda (next day collection) and InPost (24/7 lockers, with a 3-day pickup window). Which carrier carries your parcel is shown in the dispatch email and on the tracking page; Royal Mail is not named on the pages fetched, so a Royal Mail scan on a Boohoo order should be read on the Royal Mail hub rather than assumed from this page.
Returns: window, fee and method
From Boohoo's returns page: "from the day you receive your order, you must return your item to us within 21 days to secure your refund or gift card". Returns are started in the returns portal ("you will need your order number and email/postcode"), with the label printed at home or in store, and cost "from £1.99 per parcel", deducted from the refund; "additional returns for the same order will be charged", and concession (partner-brand) items carry "a one off fee of £1.99". There are no exchanges: "unfortunately we don't offer an exchange facility. Simply return your item(s) and reorder for a replacement." Refund timing: "a typical refund will take up to 21 days, that's 14 days for the parcel to arrive back at our warehouse and us processing with up to 7 days for it to make its way through the banking system"; PayPal-linked bank accounts can take a further 14 days. Exclusions "for hygiene reasons": fashion face masks, cosmetics, pierced jewellery, swimwear or lingerie where seals are broken or items worn or unwashed. Boohoo's terms add that "if you wish to dispute delivery of your order, you have 28 days starting from the day that the tracking status for your order is updated by the carrier as fulfilled".
When a Boohoo order is late or missing
Boohoo's own rules, in order. First, the late line: "if it's after 9pm on your expected delivery date then your order is late". Second, its reassurance: "on the rare occasion deliveries are delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, most arrive the following day". Third, the deadline: "if none of these apply and your expected delivery date has passed, then please head over to our Contact Us section within 14 days". For a parcel marked delivered that you do not have, Boohoo's FAQ points to the carrier's app for delivery instructions and alternative locations; the checklist of where to look first (safe place, neighbours, the ParcelShop or locker) and what to tell the retailer is in package says delivered but not received.
For merchants
Boohoo's pages are a good model of what a delivery promise looks like when it is written down: a window per service, a cut-off as a clock time, a named exception list, a late rule with an hour in it and a contact deadline. What a brand cannot copy from a help page is the operation underneath: the promise at checkout has to be computed from the carriers' live cut-offs and the warehouse's measured handover time, the tracking page has to translate four carriers' statuses into one set, and the late rule has to fire a message before the customer checks the clock. Pango computes the checkout promise from handling time, cut-offs and measured carrier performance, normalises the statuses of every connected carrier into one milestone set on the brand's own tracking page, and sends the delay and failed-attempt messages automatically; the returns policy a brand writes, with its window and fee, is the subject of how to write a return policy.
The bottom line
Boohoo publishes a window for every service, a midnight cut-off for Next Day, a postcode list for the slow lanes, a 21-day returns window with a fee, and a late rule that starts at 9pm. Track from the dispatch email, read the carrier's status on its own hub, and contact Boohoo within 14 days if the date passes.
